2008 Yukon Highlights: Juneau to Anchorage
If you've always wanted to answer the "Call of the Wild" be sure to explore the country that was Jack London's inspiration-the Yukon. It's the wild, untamed land of the Klondike Gold Rush and the thousands of rugged stampeders who came to seek their fortune during the 1890's. Many of them stayed on to build the rough-and-tumble towns of Dawson City, Eagle and Tok where the wilderness still calls to many a wanderer.
