Overnight flight. (Dinner and breakfast on board). | | Day 2 | La Paz | LA PAZ : Arrive in La Paz where you will be met and accompanied to HOTEL selected. Afternoon city tour of the Capital of the Altiplano (13,000 feet high) . You will visiting the Open Air Museum and Tiahuanaco Art collection, Casa Murillo, the local and picturesque witch Doctor street , the 16th Century San Francisco Church, the residential area of Obrajes and the unrealistic Moon Valley. Overnight at Hotel selected. | | Day 3 | Puno | LA PAZ-LAKE TITICACA-PUNO : Depart early mornig for Huatajata port on the shores of Lake Titicaca.Board the Hydrofoil to visit the colorful Andean town of Copacabana. Stop will be made to visit the Sun Island and drink water from the Sacred Spring -believed to be the source of eternal life. From Copacabana you will be taken by car or bus to Puno to HOTEL selected. (B, L). | | Day 4 | Cuzco | PUNO-CUZCO : Transfer to the train station for a full day ride across the Altiplano as you pass through many villages. Arrive in Cuzco, where you will be taken to hotel selected. (B) | | Day 5 | Cuzco | CUZCO : Morning sightseeing tour of Cuzco -at one time Capital of the Inca Empire- and visit to the ruins nearby such as theFortress of Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca-Pucara and the Inca Spa of Tambomachay. (B) | | Day 6 | Machu Picchu | CUZCO-MACHU PICCHU : Full day excursion by train to the most mysterious, energetic and powerful place of the Inca civilization.
Early morning your tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the train station for your 3 1/2 hour trip with spectacular views of the Urubamba River and the Andean mountain range to Machu Picchu. Temples, palaces, towers and staircases are built into the side of the mountain. Here your tour guide will take you from site to site explaining the advanced world of the Incas. Overnight at hotel selected in Aguas Calientes. (B) | | Day 7 | Cuzco | MACHU PICCHU-CUZCO : Day at leisure to explore Machu Picchu.(You can hike Huayna Picchu or go to the Intipunku -Gate of the Sun- or visit the small town of Aguas Calientes and its thermal baths on your own. Mid-afternoon return to Cuzco. Transfer to hotel selected . (B) | | Day 8 | Nazca | CUZCO-LIMA-NAZCA : Transfer to the airport for flight to Lima to connect with flight to Ica.Then for about 45 minutes, fly over the Nazca plains in light aircraft. The fabulous pre-Inca lines, huge birds that resemble a landing field, geometrical lines, spirals, etc., all of which has to be seen by air to appreciate their majesty. Lunch at Hotel Las Dunas in Ica and visit the Archaeological Museum. Early in the afternoon return to Lima and transfer to hotel selected. (B) | | Day 9 | Miami | SUN.
